A female is 168 cm tall if her femur is 46.2 cm long.

A male is 201 cm tall is his tibia is 50.1 cm long.

Femur: 39 cm

1. For one of the bone above, graph the equations for males and females on the same set of axis. What do the X and Y intercepts represents in this problem? does this make sense?



The X intercept means that the person will have bigger bones since X is greater, and it is also growing instead of shrinking. The Y intercepts means that the total height of the person is getting bigger, since it is moving towards the 1st guaderant it is growing instead of shrinking.
